Tifton Quality Peanuts uses a series of concreted domes manuftured by Dometec to store peanuts. In addition to their intended purpose, the domes are visible from I-75 and serve as a major focal point for the company.

Each dome is 75' tall and 170' in daimeter.
Project Description
The Tifton domes were covered in Peanut dust. As naturally occurring mold spores settle from the air, they attach to the exterior surface of the dome and us the peanut dust as a food source. Moisture from rain and morning dew combined with the Georgia heat create an ideal environment for rapid growth.
Our non-invasive, low pressure cleaning method provided a fast and effective cleaning of the Tifton domes. Using a 135' boom lift to reach the domes, we were able to clean them in 10 days. In order to prevent interference with day-to-day operations, we started on the west side between domes 1 and 2. We finished this area quickly without interference to scheduled peanut transfer between the two domes. To preserve the integrity of the lawn and grounds surrounding the site, we used full sheets of 3/4" plywood to move the 135' boom lift on wet grassy areas without causing damage or ruts.
